Question single e-fan??

I am able to get my hands on a 1600 CFM universal flex-a-lite fan that was meant for a 302 ford car motor... what do the LS1 fans flow and will this one be enough??? I also got a tranny cooler this weekend to go in with tranny #4 .... I was just going to run this one off a toggle switch in the cab and turn it off and on myself as needed... I know a couple folks with their LS1 fans the same way... I dont need no stinkin harness!!!
-this will be going on a cammed 5.3.... whaddya think??

I dont know what the ls1 fans flow at but I havent seen a set of fans for our trucks that flowed less than 4000 CFM.

this thing isnt any smaller than the clutch fan thats on it right now.... I figure it will flow enough. I wouldnt think LS1 fans would flow like that though.

i picked up two 14" fans that flow 2000 cfms each and they do a ton better than the ls1 fans. i was having problems with my fan controller not turning the second fan on. i have that issue worked out and they really keep my engine cool even at idle now.

zirgo makes a nice fan but cost around 60 bucks each. the ones i got cost about 20 bucks each. at that price if they go out i can replace them at a easy to swallow price.

i dont know any numbers, but the LT1 fans i have keep my truck cool.. even when the temp is 95-100 (rear view mirror thermo) and the A/C on..
i have them on a mini toggle switch in the coin holder of my center console..
when i get up to 30mph i cut them off.

I dont see why the fans kick on when the A/C is turned on while goin down the road?
mine stays cool doin 30mph with out the fans on..
