Sludged Oil Filter

If you really want it to die, run a whole can of sea foam in the oil, and suck in a bunch through the pcv system. I know it isn't recommended on high mileage engines but it looks like that ones pretty far gone as it is. Worst case scenario the engine will be dead, OR it could clean out a lot of that nasty **** and smoke for days haha

good idea. A high detergent diesel oil will clean it out, but more slowly. I run rotella in my motorcycle and the internals were spotless when I took it apart, it is a good oil. I think I would be changing the oil filters more often to be on the safe side. I would do an oil filter change at 1500 miles if you run the oil to 3000 miles with as dirty as it is.

Note about diesel oil...it will turn black quickly, but that doesn't mean the oil is bad.

I'll probably do that. Before I changed the oil the pressure was right below the 30 psi mark. After I changed it, it sits right above 40. When the pressure gets to 35 or so, I'll go ahead and change the filter with a cheap one.
