small clunk sometimes when i hit the gas

does it clunk when you are still stomping on the gas or a second after u let off? just asking cause the drive shafts that gm used all have this problem. if it is when you let off and it only clunks once, then its the drive shaft and theres nothing you can do except maybe get an after market driveshaft.
