Man, what a LONG drive. I drove up there to pick up a few trannies ( ) and holy crap, what a drive from my pad. It's about two counties north of my house. Took me damn near 2 hrs to get there. I got off 82 I think then off like 4 different county roads to pick them up.

After getting back toward town I went to Carrolton for a 3/4 Ford tranny that has 6K on it since rebuild...for $50! Yes $50. It's the E4OD and basically a Ford version of the 4L80E. The guy was moving and basically giving stuff away...I got a stock oil pan, some 5.09" rods for wall decor, and declined to accept a .040" over 302 (308 now) with some cast pistons.

Well just had to share my score and the trials of driving all over the place for parts!
