Default Some A$$HOLE Stole My Mirror

Tonite I went to the casino, and when I got back to my truck, My driver's side mirror was gone. Not the whole mirror, just the glass. I thought it may have fallen out but there were no pieces on the ground. I know it was there when I got there because I used it to back into a parking space. Even my alarm went off and these SOB's still took it.

Does anyone have a part number for the replacement glass or know of a place where i can get a new glass? I searched for the part number but all I found was for heated mirrors.

If I could only have come out when they were doing this, their asses would have been mine.

That's gotta make a guy mad. I'd crack some skulls, it's so small and pointless to steal, but there are those types out there. I'd check with the dealer, you sould be able to get just the glass from them for about $40 give or take. If not the dealer, check you local salvage yard, you might be able to get one there for next to nothing

Dude, the same thing happened to a guy i work with. He went to a store to run in and get some things and when he got out, the glass on his passengers side mirror was missing. Everything else was still there, just the glass was gone. He has an 04 crewcab.

I thought it was goofy when he told me the glass of his mirror got stolen but now it happened to you too. What the hell is wrong with people now a days?? You gotta make sure you tie your shoes tight when you leave your house cause they will try to steal even those when your not looking!

try calling local glass shops, they usually can get them for a fair price, also it won't hurt to call the dealer's parts department

which casino was it? I'll make sure I don't go there

If they just stole the glass, I have a replacement mirror glass at home, still in the box, not sure which side, I can check when i get home. But if they popped off the entire piece (Glass + Plastic Backing), I don't have the plastic backing.....

It was at Evangeline Downs in Opelousas. After work I will go to a dealership and check on a price. I do not know if anything else is missing from the mirror. All that is left is a round plastic black piece that looks like might hold the mirror in place. I will probably go and check at a glass place tomorrow to see if I can get something cheaper.

If all your seeing is the round plastic piece then your missing the plastic mirror backing. It is a piece inbetween the glass and the motor (round thing) housing.
