speaking of pushing buttons, why hasn't RED2K put this on lock-down yet?

red2k, i thought you got 10s from your servo install and 11s from the k&n filter. you have the superdooperpooper servo which makes all the difference in the world. i only have a corvette servo so that's why i am not getting the same results.

I'm dead serious too.

LOTSOFUN - Congrats! That's hauln ***** with the 5.3L. I'm going to try and join you soon.

I am not calling BS but will state my opinion. I, at first, was very skeptical of Jeremy's first 13.51 time and was one of the first to inquire about it. I also have all the boltons with stock converter and street tires and have a best of 14.4@93 on motor but that is with a crappy 2.1x short time. I know the 60' is the most inportant part of the 1/4 so that is where I am loosing a lot of ET but the mph is what gets me. I am also a nitrous user but not out of the hole. With the same 60' time I can pull a 1.1sec and 9mph faster 1/4 so it is not all in the 60'. In the very near future I will also have a Yank 3000 and sticky tires so I will be able to see if a converter/tire setup makes that much difference. I may just have one of those "naturely slow trucks" though.
So.. with that being said, I would like to extend a proposition for all trucks in question to meet at a track (NPR, State Capitol, HubCity, wherever) and discuess this. After we are done racing we can all go and have a beer together.

but lets set a date and have a huge ls1tech meet at NPR one friday. that would kick ***, we'd own that place. hell there's already more 99+ GM trucks out there on fridays than anything else and thats just the locals.

All this is so useless.Red's truck and LOTSOFN's truck are not set up exactly same. There for different track times should be expected.
The one thing I've noticed,as the rest of you have is how good a 60' time LOTSOFN has.His suspension setup compliments his truck very well.
1.7 60ft If RED's truck is laying down the same hp and tq numbers than I would say his truck is responding as well to the mods as anyones. The reason most of the guys are not running better times is because of thier 60 ft time. What are RED's 60ft times???I would imagine if he could pull a 1.7 that his time would be very close to LOTSOFN's.Alot of it comes down to knowing how to drive and use your power.Give me a 600hp truck and i'll show you a 16 second e.t.,cause I cant drive worth a ****

I'm not calling BS or anyone a liar but, just for information purposes I'd like to see a timeslip from LOTSOFUN and red53gmc to compare.

LOTSOFUN - Have you ever weighed your truck? Mine weighs 4300lbs with me and everything on it.
What was the weather like the night you ran, I don't remember if you said or not.
