Default Speed pro-Hypereutectic aluminum pistons?

i got some 3.78 bore , speed pro - Hypereutectic aluminum , made by federal mogul... there made out of FM244 aluminum alloy.
- any-b running these pistons?
- how much nitrous can these take 150 , 175 , 200 . . ?
any feedback on these pistons..

Hyper U's are better then a stock piston no doubt. However they are not as good as a forged piston. You should be able to smack them with a good shot. 150+ no problem, keep your timing in check. Guys are hitting stock pistons with that and more. Have at it Mind you slag pile below me hasn't a clue on anything, he usually agrees with what i say

if they are better than stock like fairy boy says, i dont see why you couldnt run a 200 with good tuning and proper fuel

im also going to be running mahle rings . .
im pretty sure it handle 200 shot with a good tune..


any-b know the CR on these?

He's the deal with Hypereutectic pistons... They are a bit stronger then stock for an NA setup, but you have to be really carefull with them and power adders. They are higher silicon content, so that makes them stronger, BUT it also makes them more brittle and more prone to breaking IF you detonate them. So you have to be really careful to NOT detonate on them. They're also a pretty heavy piston.

Correct ^^

L33's have hyperwhattheheckisit pistons stock. They are only fancy casting, no replacement for forged.

my old 370 that I built a few years back is still running. I used the same flat top pistons It's now in a TA and getting a 150 shot . . . it made 525 with the 150 shot.
