Jeez... I was kind of thinking I had the same problem as you guys but the noise I hear is not high pitched. It is a low moan, like a hydraulic noise. I wonder if it could be the same thing?

What your describing sounds more like a power steering pump low on fluid. Check it out.

Yeah already replaced most of it with some synthetic. No change. I dunno
