Well said ... one of those dipshits over there swore up and down he could beat my 12 second half ton truck with his 3/4 ton truck with only a Jet stage2 programmer He knew nothing of what I had or that it was actually a 12 second truck, but they are so drown out with Hemi-itis it's freaking rediculous. I swear half of them thought I came over there to only stir up the ****.

In their defense though, they do have a few guys over there that are pretty kewl.

But .. another one says he is gonna whip my *** with a bottle ... maybe so, but I don't think it will be an *** whooping like he said. Honestly though ... I'm still not scared, they can't spray to much because they all run in speed density mode and they can't get any colder plugs. I feel bad for them, the really have absolutely no aftermarket.

Forgot to post times. My buds 4.8 ext cab ran a 16.2 and 2 16.3's with just a drop in filter.

The ONLY stock truck I've seen running better than 15 was a 14.97 owned and driven by Seeing Red Again. That is bone stock. The ones that are getting better than 15's aren't stock.

My best was 15.37 and that was against a single cab HEMI with flows and air intake! I don't see how they can run any lower than a 15 with simple bolt on's!

There was a ford quadcab ran a 15.8 there that night,we didn't race.

Hemi's run anywheres from 15.8 for a qc 4x4 to a 14.7 for a reg cab short box 4x2 on 17's. That's the best times for a stock hemi I've seen. My hemi ran a 15.1 stock and its on 20's. With the little mods you can do, headers, exaust, intake, and the wire trick, you can get them into low 14's. Or you can keep it stock and put on a 100shot of NoS and run a mid 13 second 1/4mile. This summer you'll start to hear of hemi's running in the high 12's, and if the computer can get cracked possibly even lower.

You chevy guys are dam lucky you can bolt on a supercharger the day you get your truck off the lot, we are still waiting for the big power boosters for our hemi's.
