well how did i miss this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i really dont see how you can go from running 13.08 in the winter with all mods to running a 15 in the summer and still have most of the mods. Also i think luke had told me he ordered headers for that QC but he might not coulda put them on and still ran a 15.6 or 15.7 same night i ran that 13.62 which is on basically a stock converter thats not stalling up to what it should behind a cammed motor. look at TXsilverado, he ran with a bolt-on ls1 ECSB NO CAM and went 13.2x's

Ah what the hell, ill get back in it.
Im not on either side here but I will just state what I know.
I know from dyno numbers that a Superchip programmer and long tubes on a Hemi Ram is good for 40rwhp. The same guy dynoed with his cutout open(pre-cat) and gained another 12rwhp.
I have also seen in person a QC run a 13.8 with all bolt-ons. There was one little exception, he had a 6.1L Hemi cam. I know that kind of throws the numbers some, but that cam is only good for about 25rwhp and it doesn't gain any torque on the bottom.
So, if the guy did not have the cam and had some more actual bolt-ons, I believe he could have run the same times.
I think it is possible to run 13's, even though they might be really high 13's in a QC with bolt-ons, but you better have every bolt-on for the engine, a set of slicks, and gears.
I dont really know much about what it takes to get a Chevy ECSB to run similar times so I wont say anything about that.

Just a note, I never said anything about low 13's. I havent seen that. I think that would be pretty hard to do for any make truck. Hell a bolt-on Ford would do good to get 14's.
