lol!!!!!! yea i think i started boiling the water though..... lol!!!!!!!!!! really though i still have a few things that need purchasing that'll help with et.

you sure have purchased a lot of stuff to try to outrun something that only has bolt-ons.

what was the power rating of your stock 4.8. i think you told me 280 at one time but i could be wrong. why spend over $3500 to swap in a motor that has 30 more horsepower?

also why do you always see the passes that are aleast 3 tenths slower than what has been run

05 4.8 285hp/295tq...... But what is up with the 5.7 ls1 only making 310, thats kind of sad for a so called performance engine. Dodges run of the mill everyday truck engines make 1hp per cu in.

i don't think the 4.7 in my grand cherokee makes that much but ran a 14.96 with only an intake and magnaflow

ls1 is underated. the same motor in the vette produces 350.also most ls1s dyno around 300 to wheels. and dodge overates their motors

Must be overrated? My old 220hp work truck can match a 4.8's times, hmmm whats up with that?

you are saying that stock for stock the ls1 and the hemi would be real close. then why is a hemi with bolt ons running the same time with a ls1 with more mods?

SOOOO, an ls1 actually makes 345hp at the fly (assuming the car has a 15% loss)
