ok, im # 59(13.32 qc # 60 (13.77), that was the same day, same track. Then I had superchips, intake, exhaust (still through a muffler), shortbelt, 17's front and back with 26" drag radials. The QC had the exact mods but was running 13.9's on 20's, so I put just my drag radials on the back and left the 20's up front (was running out of time) and ran the 13.77.
I then added longtube headers to the rc and went back and ran a best of 13.08. So wouldnt you agree that both trucks perform equally and with headers and front 17's the QC would/should/could (however you want me to put it) run low 13's? I will find out soon.

stock my ecsb ran kinda crappy. rightfully so due to trq mgmt and also the extreme delayed entry into PE from the stock tune. I think my stock time was somethin like a 15.4 or something. I'll look for the slip later. I seriously doubt a QC with the regular "bolt ons" like headers, tune, and intake can get into the 13's. I've stretched my EC thin to get into a lower 14. I've made a big jump from stock, but no 13's. Now, nitrous will definitely get me there. My last time was a 14.4 with the mods in my sig.

You don't have any mods in your sig... But point taken, I also dont see a QC with a superchip, cat back, intake, and a short belt running 13's. He probobly has a cam or a 50-75 shot.

thanks, that's what I thought too when I first ran it. I had a perfect reaction time and it was cool out. plus i didn't spin under 60' which helped. my new intake helps me squeeze out some more power. biggest problem I noticed when I started modding was the IAT's get so damn high it starts to pull timing like a mother trucker. i've got a MUCH cooler IAT now. I think WOT timing on the midrange is about 27*? i'll double check on that

another note: my truck from the factory ran really strong and I could spank my buddy with the exact same truck by over a car length

this is an old pic. but that's still kinda what's on there. Right now I have some stainless lines that run around the k&n tube that I run liquid C02 through. the lines I put underneath the header wrap, and then on top I used some more fiberglass wrap to insulate it all. makes it a wee bit chilly . It's a big PITA to do and it's only just to see if it works. I spent probably 180 bux on the setup to do it right and I fabbed the pieces my self. the tank was a freebie (usually costs 150) from my old place of work. it drops the IAT about 30-50* instantly on a hot day. It's kinda illegal to have the bottle in the truck so I don't keep it in there haha. Nitrous is obviously a LOT more economical and cheaper in the long run, but being a nerd and having nothing to do on saturdays I gave it a shot. don't have any dyno numbers, but would like to get some. I have the IAT adder put in an extra 3* of WOT timing when the c02 is engaged.
btw, not sure if it causes condensation, it doesn't appear to though.
note: it's the 77 series tube that's metal. plastic tube wouldn't have worked too well
