It's a big PITA to do and it's only just to see if it works. I spent probably 180 bux on the setup to do it right and I fabbed the pieces my self. the tank was a freebie (usually costs 150) from my old place of work. it drops the IAT about 30-50* instantly on a hot day. It's kinda illegal to have the bottle in the truck so I don't keep it in there haha. Nitrous is obviously a LOT more economical and cheaper in the long run, but being a nerd and having nothing to do on saturdays I gave it a shot. don't have any dyno numbers, but would like to get some. I have the IAT adder put in an extra 3* of WOT timing when the c02 is engaged.

btw, not sure if it causes condensation, it doesn't appear to though.

note: it's the 77 series tube that's metal. plastic tube wouldn't have worked too well

Nice set-up, I have wondered how insulating the intake tube might help.

thanks man, it really helps just using the fiberglass header wrap. I wish that the c02 system was a little better. I almost thought about tapping into the a/c where the intake would be constantly cooled. Not a bad idea for us Texas guys in this damn heat.

I have a log somewhere that shows the difference with the wrapped intake. Off the bat it was around 15* taken off with just the fiberglass wrap.

Anyways, bout to order some nitrous here soon.

well guys i believe that on the perfect day that DODGE 345 HP (in stock form) motor should run very low 13's i mean come on a stock 6.0 with the same CHEVY 345 HP (in stock form) is running very low 13's if not 12's i know the cubes are different but you need to look at the HP/TQ ratings for a comparison here. in the same comparison the LS1 has almost the same power to weight ratio as the hemi and 6.0 because its an aluminum block. so i can see these running the same or very close to the same times. now my setup needs work as in a converter which ill have wednesday, shortbelt, 17's up front, O2's, and tune to be played with some more, and it should be running strong hopefully!!!!!

I agree it is possible in a regular cab, but I don't believe a CC can do it as easily without A LOT of weight reduction. IMHO
