I've ran a few hemi's with my SS pick up. It ran 14.57 I've never had a hemi follow me up close. I'm not saying one wouldn't but they haven't yet. Now it's very easy to mod up a truck and run real fast then hide your mods. Half my friends don't know what my SS has and why it runs like that as far as any body knows it only has intake and exhaust. I like to hide mods, I'm sure i'm not the only one

Dont know how many times ive gone through this......
First time at the track the QC ran 14.4's with superchips and exhaust.
Superchips is worth .6 on these trucks (extended shift points, less tq management, plus the 10-15 hp it gives the motor), the exhaust on the truck is worth close to .3. Which would put the truck at 15.3's stock, mine ran 14.9 stock. Next time at the track we added intake, ran 14.1's, then added short belt, ran 13.9's, then put my drag radials on the back 13.77 all in the same day. I went from 13.3's to 13.0's with just headers (both trucks respond identical to each mod) Headers would put the qc at 13.4's, now shed weight and get the 60ft's in the low 1.8's with a stall.....thats low 13's in a n/a bolt-on hemi. My math works.

well how did i miss this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i really dont see how you can go from running 13.08 in the winter with all mods to running a 15 in the summer and still have most of the mods. Also i think luke had told me he ordered headers for that QC but he might not coulda put them on and still ran a 15.6 or 15.7 same night i ran that 13.62 which is on basically a stock converter thats not stalling up to what it should behind a cammed motor. look at TXsilverado, he ran with a bolt-on ls1 ECSB NO CAM and went 13.2x's

and i had heard that the lights werent exactally on time that evening either, even you had doubts about them being perfect!!!! SO I HEARD!!!!! might not be true, but like i stated time will tell my motor stock is rated at 310/340 and as i cant claim any HP bc no dyno sheet cars with the same mods over on tech are putting down 375 400 with same mods and with this cam and LTs a big stall is needed and i dont have one. so in basic means im taking the tranny out this week sometime and ill go friday night and run it with a stock stall and see what it does
