well friday night at hrp i raced a rcsb hemi and he ran a 15.8! i beat him to my surprise but went over and talked to him he was a nice gentelmen ,he had cold air kit and exhaust, he also said it was the first time at the track so i gave him a few pointers about driving and stalling up to better his time "but the 4.8 ecsb still beat him 15.24 new fastest time for me or slowest lol have fun and good luck with your racing.

look at his 1/8 times and compare them to his 1/4 times. with that 9.4xx he should be running a 14.6xx. He sure does seem to be pulling the eigth pretty fast and then its almost like he lets off after that. Either he is lying about what he runs and needs to find a better conversion chart on the internet or he is losing some power after the eigth. It doesnt matter what mods he has, get him to scan his time slip and prove himself, because something doesnt add up to me.

So you are calling my truck a lier to right? I ran just about a tenth off his time with everything in my truck. Spare, jack, crap in the truck. Two reciver hitches.

Come on man, I can scan my time sheets and send them to you. When will people learn that maybe, just maybe there is another quick truck out there besides GM..

hopefully I can be as fast as you one day. :p :p

Talking qc hemi

well i beat a couple of them down here. one factory with paper tags and one with exhaust and intake.from a stand still we took off when the light changed.from a take off he got the jump,i began to pull on him and got him by about 2 lenghts.from a rool i didnt pull but one on him. my best is a 15.19. so i can see one running this in 30 degree weather.i think it is great. i weigh in at 5250 with me and the tolls and spare.

if the truck ran that time then great. i'll give you my thumbs up as a seal of approval. However, with the dodges (with the hemi's) that i have ran, none of them have ever had that quick of a time. two of which had exhaust and intakes. maybe it is the cold air. dunno. i just wish i could find some to run in. still hot during the day down here in MS.

Thanks guys for the support. I know the cold air had alot to do with it.
As for 02Reaper, I'll gladly send you a digital photo of my slip, as well as the video if you like. My truck IS strong at the 1/8 mile, but soon after shifts to 3rd and becomes a dog. I'm sure you've seen the front end of the Dodges, it's like strapping a piece of plywood to the front for aerodynamics.
Also, if I don't load up at the start (braketorque) my truck runs about 3 to 4 tenths slower. If I do, it launches pretty good. I raced an awd Talon and was only 2 1/2 tenths behind him at the 1/8. By the 1/4 it was 7 tenths.
Oh yea, goshawk23, I'll be in Biloxi MS for 4 months starting this February. Hopefully we can meet up at the track for some friendly racing. How close is the nearest track?
thanks again fellas

I almost got into a fist fight about 4 weeks ago with a fool claiming he could spank me on his 4 cil S10. After challanging him to a race he backed out claiming he did not want to **** it up since he planed on selling his truck soon....
