Z71 vs. Z71
saturday night i had a 2000 chevy Z71 messing with me on the freeway, so finally he pulls out next to me, i look over and he signals lets go with his finger, so we both hit it, and i can proudly say i pulled his ***. after that, he stayed back from me.

i also raced a new model honda civic last wednesday night, he came up revin to me and i had to show him that this heavy *** truck could take his nutz.

i can go on for hours talking about stories i've had; especially the ones with my old single cab 5.3 chevy, but i'm at work, so i'll chill!

a while back i found myself driving next to a 98 mustang gt. the kid looked about 18 or 19 and had his girl in the passenger seat. anyways, he would constantly tap the gas and pull forward..then slow down next to me again...then tapped the gas again...etc. well after about 3 times of watching this guy act *****, i gave him a little demo of what the sierra has. so he of course played along, and we got stopped at a stop light. he looks over and asks if i wanna go for it. so i tell him, "yeah sure, but you've got a gt and i've got a truck...i don't have a chance". he had this stupid smirk on his face after that...looked really proud of himself. so we wait for the green, and then it turns. he beat me barely off the line, but after that he was in my mirrors. next stop light we came to i had to take a right and he was going straight. i look over, and his girl was laughing at him.

i've got other stories but this one is always sure to bring a smile.

this one time i beat a stepside, single cab black sierra with this *** driver, it had a cowl hood and some aftermarket airdam. he was over there blowing kisses at me and he had this guy with him that had long hair, so i guess he was the woman in the relationship...
anyway, i beat his *ss!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

01 Silverado

One of my best races was against Really Slow Truck (Bryan). He had been talkin some crap bout how he would kill me, so we went for a few runs. He has long tubes, ls1edit, a convertor, and a locker over what I have. So we ran about 4 runs, every time I beat him and the look on his face was of total shock every time. We will race again.. too bad he has gotton more mods now <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

awwwe, is someone jeawos that they can't beat a wittle sierra? and if i recall, who was looking at who's hazard lights before i exited 45? <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

BTW: when you gettin those clear corners on? i'm suppose to get mine on in a few days. but if you get em on before me, post some pics. i wanna see what they look like with the headlight mod.

hey bj, you'll probably get the corners before i do, i wont have any money clearance until about 3 weeks. i think that will be the last mod for a while also, i need to pay some of this credit card damage that i made with my old red truck. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

My 99 x-COP HOE 2WD vs:

Older 7 series BMW, beat him from a toll plaza all the way up to 120mph I had him by 2 car lengths...

Navigator... Not EVEN remotely close.

My 3.08 gears are perfect for highway racing, I wish I had maybe another 30hp and I could be a bit more competitive with Mustangs.

THE night was hot and sticky. After enjoying a fat bag of some Dallas cake i was having the munchies. so I jumped into the red2k and headed for some taco bell eatin..... 2 double deckers please... so i got my tacos and proceeded to pull out of the bell. as i was pulling out to take my right hand turn i heard the sound of a beast. A chill went down my back as i heard the sound of that racing motor. As i turned my head to see what it was my eyes opened even wider. Yes it was the beast from the east. It was a 80s tempo with a type-r sticker on the winshield. i new this car had to be straight out of the nearest auto zone chrome section. i took notice of the "i say it with krylon" yellow racing stripes on the original brown paint job. yep the owner thought she was one puuuurdy machine. I started digging through my taco bell sack for some extra napkins cause i thought i was going to **** myself from laughing so hard. I hurt so bad from laughing my leg got a cramp and i couldnt push the gas pedal so he had it planned out i am sure. He proceeded to buzz off into the distance like a sick bumble bee. hell of machine, I still have nightmares about it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />
