Strip near Killeen, Tx
I am new to the area and i have asked around with people from work and no one knows where a drag strip is. i have noticed there are quite a few on the site from texas on here so i figured some one might help.

I live in Temple, Tx not far from you at all, try the drag strip in Academy, Tx probably like 20 to 30 minutes from you.
Get with some of those "ricer guys" that run around there in Killeen they should know were the track is in Academy.

Yes, they do Friday night test and tune. Not sure what they run on the weekend, I've only been on Friday. It's a 1/4 mile track. I wish I could head out there with you, I need to run mine in the 1/4. Have fun!
