Knipex Alligator pliers. If you still can't get it, buy a gym membership.

Almost forgot about those...nice thing about them is once they lock on, you no longer have to hold them shut, just push on the one side with all your might

No heat needed, just buy the right tool. Get one of these extractor socket kits and you'll be all set. They work great.
