A small pipe wrench will loosen the toughest o2 sensors.

I think I have found the problem...o2 sensors. I have no idea how to clean them, but for ***** and giggles, I pulled the passenger side. It looks good, kinda like the plugs, signs of running rich. When I put it back it and test drove, I noticed that the stumbling problem was back. Not bad enough to not drive, but screwing with the o2 made a noticeable difference. Will be changing those in the near future. Actually, I think I am juist going to buy them and let a shop do it, the drivers side is frozen in there.

Thanks for all the help guys, I think the reason that I am getting the misfire is the pcm is dumping fuel to protect itself given the bad o2, so much so that its actually missing at part/light throttle. WOT, no misfire, idle, no misfire, part throttle, it drops a cylinder randomly.

I will update with the results.
A little carb cleaner will clean them up and they will last a while until you get some new ones.

Yeah, thanks for coming by and taking a look at it. I am pretty sure that the o2s are the cause of this issue. It makes sense in my head, being tuned, bad o2s would cause more fuel, and essentially flooding the engine. When I pulled the plugs, the tips looked good, but the threads had a decent amount of unburned fuel on them, adding to the "running pig rich" theory. I'll change them and see what happens. It sucks because I have a set of rear o2s that I took out of my TA a few years back, but the connectors aren't the same. can I swap connectors? The truck has trapazoidal shaped connectors, the ones I have sitting here are black squares. I imagine that they will work if I swap the connectors, right?

02 sensor socket... its a socket cut-in half to go over the wires. Hammer the ratchet if its froze.

Your O2's should cycle back and forth between ~50 and 900mv. If you have one stuck at 450, its bad. Change it and see what happens. IIRC, bank 1 is drivers side, bank 2 is pass. Sensor 1 is pre cat. sensor 2 is after. The sensor 2 shouldnt cause anything more than the CEL. Sensor 1 is what controls all your fueling etc.
The converter not locking/staying locked is due to the random missfire code its picking up.

Change your O2 and should clear up

Also, you can swap the connectors from the F body sensors. Its not the correct way to do things, but it works

Cool, thanks man. I had a feeling the one not switching was dead. I just have to swap the sensor and wiring.

okay, so apparently bank 2 sensor 2 is the drivers side. ALSO, apparently, the wiring color schemes are not even close. One had two dark browns which I assumed to be grounds, and put them where the two blacks were in the right connector. FAIL!!! Anyone got an o2 wiring diagram handy?

look at the pic below...

The connector in the truck is type 7, the good o2 sensor has type 1. Any idea on what wire goes where, because I suck.

If its bank 2 sensor 2 it shouldnt affect how the truck runs.

When I used the F body O2s on my truck, I matched up the letters wire A to where wire A was etc etc.
