you can fit that 8w7 easy...but honestly, i'd go with the RE8s...cheaper, less power requirements, less airspace requirements, and much less depth issues.
and about the diamond audio D6s not fitting: you can fit them, but you'll have to build a custom enclosure that uses that depth at the very bottom behind the seats.

I made a mistake and bought a 5 channel amp,
I have the rear channels faded out almost making them a waste to have,
I was able to fit 5.75 dept 12" sub with loosing only about 1" of seat travel,
I was going to buy a probox but with the center console it didn't leave me much room for the amp.
I had the box rhinod because we don't have any upolstry shops around here.

The Probox depth specs are very sketchy at best. They say 6+" of depth but it all depends on where they make that measurment and the shape of your subs basket and magnet structure since the boxes are angled. In a lot of cases I've read their "depth" only to try and install a sub and it doesn't fit because they measured at the deepest point then the box slopped very quickly. It's hit and miss.
Are those 10s or 12s and which exact sub is it? M612? M612MKII? or D612? I ask because they changed them and increased depth pretty dramaitcally and I am pretty sure my M6MKII12s wont fit in the ProBox and putting them in a custom box would maybe work but you will lose leg room. Not saying it can't be done. i just didn't want to build a custom box since this is the race truck and I only wanted a basic system with a 600w Diamond D3 running 2 subs (to be determined) and the D3400.4 running some M661s in the doors. Nice and simple with low power.
You guys have some nice boxes there considering YOU built them. I give ya'll props for that
I'll try and get some pics of my ex-girlfriends truck. We did 4 10w3s in a sealed box with a JL Audio 300/4 and 500/1 and fit it all behind the seat. She lost a bit of leg room but the truck is still comfortable to drive and I'm 6'3".

onyx's are the old m6s...the mounting depth is 5.9in
i have the same subs (2 12in DA M6s)
box looks like **** and i could have built it smaller so i think im gonna rebuild a new one for these subs

Keep those subs in good care. The new ones are like 1/2 or 3/4 deeper. I had a customer with 2 old ones and when he blew one up we tried to replace it with a new one and it was WAAY off. The MKIIs have a grey cone instead of the silver one on the original D6s.
I really liked those subs. The Eclipse 88series aluminum subs were awesome as well but they changed them and made them cheaper. Grrr. I have 2 of em and 1 has a rip in the surrond and they wont fix em.

yep, i chose these over the new m6s because the mounting depth was shallower, got them for cheaper too because of the new design
i love the subs, just may change the box ------

there is no "old M6" and "New M6" diamond audio replaced the M6 series with the D6. mounting depth for the d612 is 6.2..the M6 was 5.9. really, if i can fit the M6s in a reg cab...i can easily fit the D6s.

Actually you're wrong...
The M612 became the M6MKII12 durring that time they changed the cone and outside molding of the sub along with the depth. They then switch the name to the D612 but nothing else about the sub changed. I'm a Diamond Audio dealer and I'm staring at an M6MKII12 and a D612 on the other side of the counter while typing this. I also have an old M610 and M6MKII10 and a D610 right near that stack.
