Sunoco 93 octance is worth 1+ mpg
Well, I had to get gas at work a few months ago and a Sunoco was the nearest gas station so I stopped and filled up. I always had went to Shell before that but, one was not near where I was at. After a couple more fill ups(Some at Shell, some at Sunoco) I noticed that sometimes my mileage would be 21.6+/- mpg and sometimes it would be right at 20.5 mpg. I decided to see if it was the Sunoco gas making the difference so I filled up with Shell for a few fillups(2 a week average). Sure enough I was just barely getting 20.5mpg. So the last couple fill ups I used Sunoco and have been getting 21.6mpg. It only takes 3 days to run through a tank of gas and the trip is pretty much the same all the time so these results I feel are pretty accurate.
I don't know what that V-Power crap has in it but, Shell just got my last dollar.
Anyone else notice a difference in mileage between different gas stations?
BTW, this was in my car as my truck is on jackstands for a transmission swap(waiting on a trans jack from harbor freight)

Don't have it here. I use to run Sunoco 260 (105 octane, old way of rating it?) in my 71 Demon 340...seemed to run a little quicker. Now I just use what is cheapest.

There are to many variables to determine if its the gas that is giving you better mpg. I bet just thinking about getting better gas milage will give you a 1mpg increase

I do know Exxon gas performes much better in my truck than Diamond Shamrock. I get about 1 mpg gallon better and no pinging. Diamond Shamrock pings like an alarm clock.
