Actually, I always say, if they built a truck with crank windows, plastic floors and leather seats I'd buy in a heartbeat. Hell, I've never even used my cruise control. I purchased a 1LT and that was only because I wanted the 5.3. I've had power windows, they've broke, I've had auto air, it's broke, I've had shift on the fly 4x4, it's broke. Bottom line your arm never lets you down.

That is true I just wish I could get some answers if this was my normal dealership I purchased my truck from I would be updated several times a day.

Ahh the old follow up. I have to agree it sucks, which dealer are you using over there? (ferman here in tampa sucks, infact so much so they've made me think twice about ever buying GM again) I'd try calling Ourisman Rockmont Chevrolet in Maryland. I'm sure they have the part the question is will they sell it to you. If you have the P/N I can call my service guy up there and see.

Damn, that sucks...

Maybe I should stop using mine for a while in case it breaks and there are no parts available.

Did it ever make ANY weird noises? My does once in a blue moon when it's hot out and when I just hit the button once for vent.

Nope nothing, I noticed it was a bit slow when opening and closing but I thought that was normal. Last week it got stuck in the vent position I opened and closed it twice and it fully closed. Since then I had it open a dozen times then on Monday it was open and it would not close past the vent position and then finally stopped.

It's starting to **** me off a bit a Billion Dollar company and they cannot even get a replacement part for not even a 30 day old truck.

**Update** Well I finally picked up the truck today they had to overnight an entire sunroof and assembly from a Portland, Or dealership to Orlando, FL. It's working now and it moved much quicker than the one installed at the factory

Sure missed my truck

Glad to hear the good news! Did you ever find out what caused the problem?

Nope the mechanic thinks it was just a defective one from the factory and it was only a matter of time before it went out.
