Default Supercharged SS....

Last nite was a street car shootout at the local drag strip. I met up with a guy down there that has a Silverado SS, ATI procharger @ 10psi boost, dynatech LT's, 3200 vigilante stall, and injectors. Pretty quick truck. 13.50@91.5mph. First time I had ever really seen a well modded truck run.....I was very impressed. Just thought I'd share.

good times. My dad has a radix'd SSS with FLP longtubes and a yank TT3000, he recently ran a 12.83 @ 104. It is cool that such a heavy vehicle can run so well.

That MPH must have been a typo.. a 13.5 ET should be around 103-104mph.

Wish I had been able to make it. Think I met this guy couple months ago at the track. Was before my last mods, believe I saw him run a 13.7 then. Would have loved to line up with him. Doubt I could have pulled my 13.6 out in last nights heat but I wouldn't have been to far behind the 6.0.

CRAZYCUTER4.8's dad has a 03 SS w/Procharger,2 core intercooler, 212/218 cam,injectors,3000 stall, servos, intake, exhaust,SHORTY headers,e-cutouts and his best is a 12.4 or 12.5 I cant remember exactly which one. That was on 20's(non-stock) with stock tires last winter. SInce he has done a built tranny with shift kit.

the set-up is almost identical to my fathers, the first time we went out last summer I had the tune all jacked up (learning curves of ls1 edit) & he ran a 13.2 @ 97 mph, after some learning & tuning & care we managed a 12.43 @107mph & still I did'nt have the tune just right. that was in the winter though, I would bet there is a 1/2 second difference between hot & cold on his, when the iats get high it runs like a dog....

That's the problem with a badly tuned truck or one that can't drive. The ET never matches the MPH. I ran 14.29@96.8mph 2.0 60' N/A yet yours went 13.2@97mph? LOL At least you knew that it had a ton more in it once you got the tune right.
