I dont use synthetic because
1. too expensive
2. I'm ****, so I need to change my oil every 3 months and that way I'd be wasting synthetic.
3. I'm happy with the normal Mobil oil I use

I run synethic in all of my vehicles, I would not run anything else. Most of the trucks that my family has owned got over 500,000 miles on the original engine, that is 300,000 - 350,000 miles more than what most people keep there vehicles for.

I've just switched to Mobil 1 in the truck. I still change the oil every 3k miles but I figured since I'm about to hit the 50k mark, might as well switch just to add a little extra insurance for to get as much life as possible. Makes it easier to keep things straight too, since it's the same oil that goes in my car.

Cool

I use Amsoil. I use GM Dexron III ATF and will do my second flush at 30000 miles. I change my oil when the DIC says to and that seems to be well short of what the synthetic is good for.
