Thanks guys, but one word of advice when working that wrinkle finish I posted, let it try completely and do not try and recoat it after the first intial coating (I scratched the wrinkle finish, while mocking it up). Cause the second coat does not stick!!!! So I just spent the last 3 hours stripping it and reprimering it.......

Looks GREAT! I am glad it worked out for you. I really had my doubts though. From your pictures, it doesn't look like you made it that much bigger where it goes by the top of the dash.

Hey..If I am ever in any need of something like this, can I give you a shout?

that was me but my requirements were

high quality manufacturer - Autometer
nice looking tach - most of autometers are nice
must be analog
def. not a 3 3/8'' or 5'' monster

the only thing autometer makes in a 2 5/8 tach is a ultralite or a zseries(cheap looking IMO) or the street rod series(doesnt belong in a latemodel truck IMO) and the next size up is a 3 3/8"

Thanks man...Don't worry, I have no needs right now. I have enough **** to keep me busy with my truck. By the way, you only have your EFI Live for 2 months. I have had mine for at least 6 months and have not begun to tune yet! My work and family keep me busy. I am dying to start tuning my truck!
