Default tahoe Blower/Fan switch problem

Well, the fan for my hvac only works on speeds 4 n 5. Does not have separate controls for driver/pass. does not have "auto-temp control". It is an 01 Tahoe LT,with the rear hvac controls mounted up top. Is it the switchon the dash control unit,or is there a resistor on the blower motor or something? Thanks

Either the resistor went out or the connector is burned- common problem... You probably need to replace both it the connector is burned.. Its not cheap either.. Connector at dealership is about 80 bucks
