Default For those with new body style Suburban...question

I have almost always had a Suburban. Our 04 was purchased new and we have had only minor problems. We looked at new ones tonight. One of the things I love about our 04 is that I can fold the center bench down and remove the rear seat to allow me to haul 4.8 sheets of plywood inside. The new ones have a center seat that folds differently. Instead of the base folding flat it folds up to the back of the front seats. This seams to take more space. Does anyone know if 4x8's can still fit?

What I figured in mine is just flipping the back rest down on the 2nd and 3rd row and sliding the sheets in and resting them on top, but I haven't actually tried it. That would save the trouble of taking the back seat out too if it works. I also want to put a sub enclosure in the back, so as long as it isn't taller that the seat when it's flipped down it won't be in the way either.

Awkward, but considering.

I agree, but it's the most reliable method. You could also tape measure the hell out of one at the dealer.
