Is it just me or does this guy bug anyone else. He doesn't know $hit about cars except putting big rims on them. On the show, they do some kick a$$ restorations, but the only work he does is foot the bill and recommend more chrome plating here and there, then he take credit for it. Some other pro restoration company does all the work.

 

Good show ... horrible host I can't stand the way he talks, when he's carrying on a normal conversation and not caught up in blending in with the homies he's OK, but that holler/scratch thing he's got going on needs to go. He has good taste though, only thing I don't like about his taste is keeping 'factory' engines and stuff in them.

I was watching him and Neely run at the track one time. They had 2 old skewl hot rods, both fine and sounded healthy. I think they crossed the traps at around 45mph.

 

He seems to be the type of guy that has a good eye for styling but can't do the actual work himself. If he didn't have money, he wouldn't have the car reputation he has.

For what it's worth, I agree, his speech impedement gets annoying quickly.

yea didnt flex run like a 17 in the 1/4 with an old muscle car. i cant remember what he was in though.he does get annoying sometimes.

 

Yep his voice pisses me right off, but he does have some bad *** cars.

 

LOL hahah yea he ran a 16.something is a 1970 Ford Mach1 with a 428 I think.... some big motor... Nelly was is a 405 or something like that...

Basically he cant drive for ****... Nelly ran a 14.6 and came outa his car sayn " YEA YEA YEA 4.6 BABY WHAT UP"

he is annoying to me. they need a real person hosting a show. he was scared sh!tless to drive bigfoot over the cars. if you watch tactical to practical, that guy hammered on bigfoot and just sailed over some cars.

IT'S GOIN DOWN! BE REAL! HOLLA! BLAHBLAHBLAH I thought I was the only one that noticed the repetative yelling on that show. I also don't understand why they don't devote near as much effort in the performance department.... I think the performance upgrade they did was replacing a 283 with a 350? He should've built a 420+ small block to make the car insanely fast!
