you need to stay under 4.65. that is the max. you probe the red lead from your meter to the blue wire on the bottom of the tps. then to ground for the other lead. closed voltage should be around .52 top .65. and the opening voltage should be no more than 4.65. just turn the key on and check your readings.

I don't know about the HPP#, but the Predator can read codes, run code tests (all or specefic ones) tell you what codes and the faults are when the SES light comes on AND CLEAR THEM. A very cool tool if you ask me. You can find them used on the boards or Ebay, if they're cheap enough they're good to have just for the diagnostic capabilities! IMHO of course!
