Default Tires

It was time for some new tires, but I didn't want to spend a **** load of money or get another set of the cheap dunlops like I had that didn't last a year.

I did some research on the internet, shopped around a bit and came across the Hankook Ventus tires. I decide to go with them after reading some good reviews and getting a price of $500 for all 4 tires mounted and balanced.

I've had them on my truck for a little over a month now and I have to say these are the best tires I've ever owned. Excellent Dry/Wet Traction, great ride and handling.

I went with the 255/60-17

I got two goodyear eagle GT II's when one of my tires got slashed last year at school for the rear tires. They are $120 each i think. Though i spin ALL the time on wet roads. So ya they suck on slick wet asphalt.
I've heard good stuff about hankook's

Another great tire in that size is the Pirelli Scorpion STR. They are a little more expensive now, but when they first came out with bigger sizes, I bought a set and was very impressed. Falkens and dunlops wear quickly and spin easily, at least all the ones I used. Another great tire in wet or dry situations that are decent priced is the NItto 420s. I have heard a lot of great things about the Hankooks as well but have never tried them.

Same tire i run and I've never regretted it. I can lose grip a little at 60 in 2nd at WOT when wet depending on the pavement but that isn't very often and not very bad. Usually just grip.
And great ride improvement over other tires i've had.
