too hot ZZ4

too hot ZZ4
I have a customer that overheated a 5.7L ZZ4 with swirl port heads in a big P3500 bread truck. Both head gaskets were blown, heads are cracked, and one of the exhaust manifolds cracked as well. These are signs this motor was very hot and I am wondering what others think the condition of the block is. I know the ZZ4 short block is pretty strong, and it has had a fairly easy life with the TBI swirlport heads on it. With 200,000 miles (which I think may be inaccurate), I am thinking the motor should be completely rebuilt and checked for heat damage. The bottom end appears to be in excellent condition, however, so I am torn wether I should just put new heads on her or drop in a replacement. What do you guys think? Is the zz4 strong enough to stand up to that kind of heat?

That's what I was thinking. Thanks for the second opinions. I have much cheaper options for him. I want the block and rotating assembly, and want to make him an offer for it in exchange for the motor swap. The only way to really check the block is disassembly. So, anyone think the block made it? Is it worth making a deal? All the reviews on the ZZ4 short block I see say it's a good one.
