I paid $11.00 for a can of the Amsoil. If the TEC is that cheap at the local dealer that is what I'll use if I do it again.

A dealer trying to screw someone? Next time I'm up that way (for a fender), I'll ask my contact, since I supposedly get things at cost (list). In reality it's cheaper at GMpartsdirect, but then you add in shipping, so I guess it all works out in the end.

just use seafoam they sell it at NAPA, $6 or $7 i think. i used this stuff on my dads 92 camry which just crossed the 200,000 mile mark today. it runs waaay better and has never idled smoother, cant even tell its on now.

My local Chevy dealer in Santa Cruz California stocks the top engine cleaner. I picked up a bottle for like 6 bucks. I'm just waiting till its time to change my oil to use it. So check your dealer before goin blackmarket
