Default Track times

Ok for my first time going to the track on stock tires and a half tank of gas i ran my tahoe 6 times and got these #s

2wd runs
1st run 1/8 8.693@80.47 1/4 13.391@102.57
2nd run 1/8 8.613@80.55 1/4 13.328@103

4wd runs
1st run 1/8 8.547@81.02 1/4 13.243@101.98
2nd run 1/8 8.521@81.12 1/4 13.210@102.08
3rd run 1/4 13.199@? forgot to pick up slip but was told i ran this

kinda dissapointed with my times i was really thinking i was gonna get high 12's..
just wanna know what i can do to get better times ????

interesting, your times are better in 4 high, but mph higher in 2high, was you spinning?

i was spinning on 2wd when i was launching@2000-2500rpms so i launched on no rmp build up and hooked with a lil slip... on my fist 4wd i launched at 3k and on my 2nd 2500

my 4.10s have been great on the highway. havent noticed too much of mpg diff yet but the longest highway trip has been like 35 miles at like 70

did u see a big difference with them on a launch? is your truck 4wd?

Damn, there almost 32's. You could actually go with 4.30's and still be good on the highway.
