Thats what I would try after soaking it with the WD, and make sure you got the bolt at the top of the V.

There's no room for a punch on the pass side but I think I have room on the D side. That's a good idea

Did you mean hit it from the tranny side?

Yeah from the tranny side. It is what I had to do to get mine seperated. But I also knocked them out all the way and replaced them. It took a little while but with some PB blaster it worked great.

the alum likes to bond to the engine... u just have to get a pry bar or large screwdriver in the little slots that are cut in the bellhousing. just pry and pry and maybe get a deadblow mallet or be gentle with a ball peen hammer and tap around the mounting flange. i had this problem a couple times... and if that doesnt work, then you just have to get physical with it

There is a little notch cut in each side. You should be able to get a screwdriver in and pry a bit. Pry it until you can jam another screwdriver in a few inches over. Then do it on the other notch. Once you get 3 or 4 in you can tap them with a hammer until the pins finally break loose. It will pop pretty loud when they break loose. Be sure it is properly supported.
