trans making whining noise?

Thats the funny thing... I drove it and it drives perfectly fine. It shifts firm, and doesnt slip or anything like that.

If the pump fails or is failing I believe the trans fluid level should be high ?

idk? is fluid normally not suppose to come out?

good ? idk anything about transmissions...
If the pump is out, then it won't be sending tranny fluid out the lines to the cooler.

Honestly, it sounds like it's the converter. Reason being you just put it in a week ago. That's the most logical thing to have gone wrong so soon I would think.
