Hey I have the B&M shift kit and vette servo. My trans has held up fine and trust me I give my tranny hell. It made a huge difference over the stock my truck barks second and third when I'm on it, shifts frim but not real harsh while I'm cruizin. Transgo I heard is a great kit as well. I also went with a B&M Trans Cooler to money well spent. I would get the one that had the best price

If it does go out it aint no big deal, our local Chevy place will take care of it for me or I kind of just want to go ahead and get it built. All I' sayin I have about 11000 hard miles on that setup with no issues yet. But Transgo setup is real good kit. I got my B&M before the Transgo was very popular.

wish i would have known about it before I did buy that.. but o well..

as far as transmissions go, I have spent almost $10,000 on transmission work

good luck on yours, I hope it lasts for a while longer

I wouldn't bother with a B&M i had the transpack on my 00 silverado vette servo red eagle kolene clutches kevlar lined powerband and a 2600 yank converter tranny lasted about 5000 miles truck lasted about 2 more weeks then i got the SS i wasn't very trusting of the guy that did my work though... I have the transgo in my 99 Camaro SS and that works like a charm.. I got it installed at the AAmatic transmission shop on 23rd in mcallen for $375 installed... they know there stuff there if you want to go check it out... good luck with your project...

yeah i would post a reply on my b&m i thought i was gonna install....but i drop it up on the ramps and the ramps collapsed under the weight finally, lol. just glad i wasn't under it yet.

Now im thinking i'll go with the transgo whatever the hell the throws my throat in my *** shiftkit to go with the upcoming stall.
