more likely a coil pack that is half bad bad but dont qoute me on that best way to tell is have it hooked up on a computer to see if it is not getting enough spark to a certain cylinder

Changed coil packs and nothing one thing I noticed is that after I take it for a drive that if I get on it hard when I let off the problem is much worse then if I just turn it on and go driving to listen for it!.. may b spark plugs? Dirty injectors?

Start with cheapest part and go from there, sounds like your getting plenty of spartk but maybe a fuel problem try changing fuel filter and or pump, but its better to start with cheapest part and go from there, If you have a fuel pressure gauge test that and see if your geting right fuel pressure

Sounds more like someone was tinkering with your truck. no signs of anything being put in the tank?

Sounds like spark plugs or plug wires to me. Perfect description of a secondary ignition part failure.

ok got the problem fixed.. so since i borrowed my cousins coil pack well i had to them them back off and give them to him since that wasnt the problem. while putting mine back on i notice the msd wires are hitting the headers they always have been but since i hadnt had a problem i didnt worry much.. well just for the doubt i take them off and switch all 8 around and move them so not the same spot hits the headers. (only some hit) put everything back on and was ready to just leave it alone for today when i go out for a drive and problem was fixed.. so AKlowriderz71 u were rt... it those that spark plug wires... going to run it like that for now.. will be ordering some ebay soon.. seen some that have an L shave at the end probably get those.. thanks guys for the help..

good deal. that's why i just stick with my stock ones. They don't hit anywhere and since they are so short there isn't anything to gain by upgrading.
