All these stories about siblings wrecking trucks and thieves stealing and breaking into them really has me worried. I stood outside while my girl did all the grocery shopping last night b/c of some unsavory people hangin out in the grocery store parking lot near my truck!! Now my boss wants to borrow my truck to go to a meeting tomorrow while his Escalade is in the shop for stereo stuff. I dont want to tell him "no" b/c he's let me take his Escalade on 23's many times that Ive been without a vehicle.
Sorry about your luck man.

Thanks for all the sympathy guys, I will never ever ever let this crap happen again!! No more remote parking, no more flying out of O'hare with my vehicle sitting on the ground unprotected. From now on I will rent a car drive it to the airport and rent one for the ride back home. Never again will I leave my baby alone in a strange place!!

Need to take an old beater with some new 20's on it
and park in the same place, but hook car up to 220 volts.
Would be hair all over the place!

Yeah, those remote and long term lots are the worse, they dont even worry about you coming back to your car. I had my old car broken into at a train station lot, and I was so pissed.
Sorry to hear it dude, but they will pay in the long run.

we need to come up with a shock alarm system. basically send some volts through anyones *** that touches the vehicle. granted, your top was probably fiberglass, but they would have to touch the truck somewhere to get it off. and bam, just enough shock to knock'em on their ***.

oh yea, the electronic stuff would have to be protected.

that is how it is here
long term means shopping lot not a parking lot.
F'ers get in and go shopping

I always get someone to take me and I never fly out of Ohare - what a cluster
Midway - in and out - no problems

I remember a few years back there was a company that did something like that. I believe it was like auto taser or something. Basicly it was a system that protected your dash/interior. Once the electronic field that it used was broken it would shock the hell out of the person/thing that did it with the force of a stun gun. If someone has the time try doing an intenet search for it. I think that it was in Popular Science or some magizine like that that i saw it in.
