If your looking for the top oil to run I would recommend Amsoil. It is by far the best oil and filter for your engine. I run 0w-30 Series 2000 it rated for 35,000 miles or 1 year. their filters are good for 25,000 miles or one year. I've been running this oil in my truck since it was new and i now have 46,000 on it and only 2 oil changes. The oil and filter cost about $60.

Also if anyone else is running this oil I would be intrested if they have dyno specs of standard oil vs. Amsoil

I run Mobil1 5-30 and a Mobil1 filter and change every 4-5k depending on how I drive.

Prove it's the best?? Where did you get your info??
I'll also have to add your ignorant to keep the same oil and filter on your for 23,000mi. Sorry, but it breaks down, loses it's viscosity, and gets really black and dirty at or before those kind of miles. I gaurantee your engine will have a sludge build up soon.
I'm sorry, but I just don't agree with those kind of oil change intervals. No matter what show or tests were done on it.

Jim

you don't have to take my word for it, check out there website at www.amsoil.com. Like I say I've been running it for over 40,000 miles now with no problem the truck even starts easy when its -20 in the winter. I also run Amsoil in my race bike and change the oil once a year. the motor is going on its fourth race season without a problem.
