That's great, thanks. Just to help me visualize it, what is #32 (the whole assembly)? I am having trouble figuring out how that whole mess fits together, so if I had a picture assembled, I think it would help me.

I could probably snap a pic of one with my phone in the morning. Yes #32 is the entire shift mechanism.

Ok, so if you zoom all the way in you'll see 4 arrows.

Red is where the shift handle/lever connects.
Blue is pointing out the shift gates you feel when sweeping the lever.
Purple is where the shift cable connects.
Green is the park lock cable I think you broke or left disconnected. When the cable is pulled, the shifter can be moved from park. When the cable is pushed closed, shifter no move.

No problem buddy.

BTW intsalling a new one of these shifter controls gets rid of the row boat shifter slop alot of these trucks have after years of use.
