Default Truck squeaks

Its driving me crazy. I have this sexy bitch of truck. And its fine when its just sitting there, you know, looking all sexy. But, if the suspension moves its going to squeak. Its only in the leaf springs. Any one have any helpful comments.

Find the mouse and get rid of it

I would lubricate all the moving parts underneath there.
My shocks would squeak, untill I changed them out. but I would WD40 anything that can move under there untill I found what was sqeaking

same, but someone told me a solution to my squeak..

when i hit the brake, my truck would lunge forward and it would go "ERRRRRRK".

it turned out to be those thick rubber strap things on the cab, connecting to the frame. I took em off.

Mine did it ever since I installed the 2 inch drop shackles. I heard its from over tightning the bolts.

Did you install new springs or shackles ?
If so
Did you torque the bolts to 65 ft/lbs -
when the truck is back on the ground ??
- if not - it will put the bushings in the leafs in a bind and they will squeak like a....
also try some white lith grease on the sides of the bushings...

There is a little pad between the leaves where they contact each other. If these pads wear out, it will cause a squeaking noise. Not sure where to get new ones at, but this could be your problem.
