Default Truck won't start when hott.

well my truck is having trouble starting when it gets warmed up.

Ex.
yesterday i drove my truck across town in SA traffic.
by the time i got home bout an hour of being in the truck i finally parked it.
welll i noticed that i forgot to return a redbox so i jumped back in the truck and turned the key.
notin happens, starter doesn't click NOTHING.
i let it sit for about 10 minutes and it starts right up like nothing.

This has been going on for a while, and i dont really have the cash to just swap stuff out

I'm thinkin starter, but i want some opinions.

Thanks in advance guys.

I def think it's the starter. When you drive everything heats up the starter is prob binding.

Sounds like heat soak in the starter. I had the same problem in my chevelle and a higher amp battery fixed the problem. A starter heat shield might help also.

it's the starter...it's what's called a "hot" starter...i mean chances are it's only the solenoid but i'm pretty sure it's cheaper to replace the whole thing

You can buy starters on ebay for real cheap!!! I wouldn't spend $200+ at the parts store!

alright im bringin this one back from 4 months ago...
since the weather was cool i haven't had any problems with the starter...
now that its warming up i went and changed it out today, to my surprise it still wont start once the truck is hot...
starter relay looks good, looks like its an issue from inside the cab...
something isnt sending signal to the relay when the truck is hot
suggestions??

do not buy the ebay starter listed as new oem. It's an aftermarket one, my went out in 2 years. Got me a low mile OEM one from LKQ for $45. That ebay one never sounded right when starting either.
