I will be honest i Thought that was pretty lame. But they mounted the dry sump tank where the airbox is supposed to be. If they would of put it on the other side they could of used factory air box or the gm performance one.

sweet pics. i was at the rod run. but we all wanted to cruise so much and check out the stuff at publix we never went into the speedway. plus we thought wed be back sunday but that back fired.

Yeah, that intake is lame on the truck.... And if I recall, I was the one giving him advice against that intake (on this site)

How could drawing air from behing the radiator ever be a good idea?? Its obvius GM never meant that intake for function as the truck was never meant for production. All they wanted to accomplish is for someone opening the hood to look and say, "oooohhhhh purdy LS7" and not for them to evaluate the way it would actually work....

I think the guy here had a vara ram??? They are know for terrible quality right off the bat anyway. And the design looked terrible and no way it would work any better than a Volant, K&N etc.... They may get 1-2 dyno manipulated hp out of it over the standard CAI but they'll claim 15+ I'm sure.... Always do
