Default Two Strokes

I found this on www.dirtbike.com. Two-strokes rule!

"Interesting fact we did the math on:

One, single, container ship (yep, one of those big ole slow freighters you watch lazily crossing from horizon to horizon at the beach on the weekend - if you live by the beach) dumps more pollutants into the air on one, single ocean crossing, than ALL of the two-stroke dirt bikes ever have that have EVER been manufactured. Yeah, that`s right. I said EVER. ALL of them. From the beginning of recorded history. Every Jawa, Ossa, Montesa, Bultaco, KTM, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, Husky, Cagiva, Penton, Hodaka. Everything. Harley even made one once.

How much more beneficial would it be to the ecosystem for big ship engines to be forced to burn 10% cleaner than they do than to pick on people that like to ride their two or four-wheeler into the woods every other weekend?.

Why don`t the enviro-whatevers take on something that might actually make a real difference?"

damn, that is a major comparison. i didn't know they polluted that much. one thing is for sure, when i was in the navy, we always had to deal with green peace asses. basically we have to watch everything we did as to not get the blood hounds on us.
