Default unplug egr??

I am waiting for my pcm to come back with the egr turned off but I want to remove the egr now, will it hurt anything(fuel mileage, power) to take it off now or will I just get the ses light?? THANKS!!

The only thing that will happen is an SES light. Just make sure you seal the hole that will be left on your intake after you remove the egr. I have had mine off for 3 months and everything feels the same as it did with it on.

Won't hurt none, it'll be okay! Make sure you tightly re-seal the hole because if it leaks the engine starts to bog down. When I did mine I was like WTF, I turned on the truck and the motor was wanting to die on me.

Cutting the piece shouldn't be that big of the task I used a pipe cutter!
