Default Used LQ4 $$

So I was searching on car-parts.com to get a wiring harness for the 6.0 that I am building could not find one in my area. But just for curiosity of what complete motors were goin for. I looked at a dealer that is registered with Car-parts.com that is here in Phoenix, AZ. For a LQ4 basically just a lower end.........block, crank, pistons, rods, and heads. It was used out of a 2002 2500 with 22,600 miles on it. This parts vendor wanted $3800 for just that lower end of the motor. doesnt this seem a bit high?? I have seen complete LQ9s (motor, tranny, wiring harness, computer) for less than that.

Maybe I am crazy for thinkin that is high but I didnt know??

I got mine complete for $1250. Keep an eye out man, you can find one for the same price but you may have to do a little driving. I had to make a day out of driving to get my motor but I think it was worth it.

Hmm. I see LQ4's going for $3000 by themselves. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

SDPC shows $3,609 for a brand new Goodwrench crate 6.0. That dealer on car-part.com is crazy.

I already have the motor............ I was just looking for a wring harness. I saw the motor though with a local parts dealer and I was curious as to what they were goin for. I couldnt beleive it when he told me $3800!! And of course they did not have a wiring harness ............so the search continues. Even if they did it would prolly cost like $2k WTF??
