Could always hit the junkyard and cut the tunnel out and weld it in there. That is what I would do and would totally be worth it.

Another FTW guy doing a 6L swap! Got me out of the woodwork on this one, lol. I have a 6L90 that was going to go behind a 582 big block in the suburban, NP205 iron case, etc... but it's now going to go behind a turbo SBC in my 94 Blazer with Termi X ECM interfaced for shift spark cut (Similar to how Scrapmetal sleepers on youtube does it) and a 29 spline swapped NP241 floor shift - So just now getting my head back in the game.

That should be way easier in another car than in a GMT-800. Older cars are simpler to wire up everything it seems. LS1Tech has a few guys doing it.

lame probably but it was way to nice outside to be laying under a truck and doing actual work, when given the option I'll always go screw off and ride.....LOL, its the only thing about being an adult that is actually worth while, doing what i want

Alright,so I got this started and all the old stuff out and got the 2650 mounted and some rough wire routing. I got some T-taps for taping into the wires(yes I know they are crap, but they are also temporary, if they work out in the locations i have them, then I'll do it right).
I dont have pics yet but I mounted the 2650 to the fuse box cover under the hood, close to the brake booster and BCM on the firewall, since i had a hole in the firewall for the clutch master, I used that to run the ODBII port and the yellow 12v switched power supply in to the cab. I used the nearest chassis ground on the firewall for the power ground. for the 12v power from the 2650 i use one of the post under the fuse box cover in the engine bay for power, I'm not 100% sure that will work but I'm gonna try it. all this is subject to change I'll update as i change stuff. there are a few cables and digital inputs that I wont be using so I'll just tape those up and hide them somewhere for now, eventually if I dont ever use them, I'll cut them down and tape them up.

I tapped the TPS inputs via the purple and black wires at the TB
for the RPM, I taped injector #1, we'll see how that works out.

more updates as i get more done.

Thats just the stuff I did for the 2650, I also put the shift cable in, the auto shifter lever, did a shitty install of the trans cooler, drilled a hole in my AC condenser at the same time. you know just trying to fix more than i screw up.

My daughter turned 16 last week and is itching to drive her truck, she's been blowing me up everyday to see if i have my truck running. Motivation to work faster, because teenage girls are annoy AF!

All that and I havent even put the transmission in yet. so I dont even know if it will mount to the crossmember yet or if the driveshaft is the right.

I had to modify my crossmember and move it 2 inches back to clear the pan for removal.
