I have a buddy who works on fire trucks for a living and he has a Knipex set he said I could use, so I am probably ok for now. But turns out they are called circlip pliers, not snap ring pliers

Man, I love knipex tools, their gator grip channel locks are the best I’ve ever used.

From everyones tuning experience, can the 6l80 be tuned to shift using the TPS only? I can get it to catch 1st and reverse, make it move around the shop just to get it out of the way.

I don't know anything about the tuning of them, I have a tuner for that- but my understanding is it's gonna need TPS and MPH to calculate desired gear

According to Jim at ZGP, the 6L has an internal speed sensor, so we should be able to see transmission speed easily

Why would being able to shift off TPS only benefit you? Are you thinking more TPS would mean a lower desired gear?

No, just thinking about getting it home, I ran out of time in the shop, its full of HVAC equipment. Get it home and continue there. I have some investigating to do, the 2650 stopped seeing RPM signal. something is goofy.

Are you still pulling RPM off #1?

Yup, the monitor on the 2650 isnt showing any RPM but I also have a P0200, going to try to resolve that first. I dont think the 2650 is causing the problem, it maybe just a crappy connection. I'm going to fix the wires then try agian.
