You didn’t invite me to install the 6L80 so your opinion is invalid.

LOL, I'll invite you to help me tune it, Thanks to Alanis001 for helping me with the spot of wiring and providing the file for comparison. It moves and shifts now, but its super harsh shifting. I might need some help with tuning out some of the harshness.

One of my fears is coming true, this project is taking forever. T case needs more parts (range switch and shift fork)

so I am at least another week behind "schedule" 🙄

Hey Guys.. Hope I am replying to the correct tread. I am new to this site but am attempting the same conversion with the TCM-2650 controlling a 6L80. I have a 2001 Silverado single cab 2WD and built a 408/6L80 to install. I have the TCM-2650 kit and have purchase HP Tuner help with this. I will be installing the engine and trans Saturday. I have done research on wiring up the trans controller in a 99-02 GMT-800. I have been working with suppler and purchased a conversion kit that has have a programmed TECHM that works for this conversion. The kit includes a PRNDL corrector that allow the use of the 99-02 4L60 shift selector to be used on the 6L80. I have lengthened the shift cable bracket on the 6L80 1/2" for proper fit of the 2001 truck shift cable. Transmission cross member will need to be lengthened 2"- 3" to bolt in the transmission mount.

My research is below and has not been tested on my truck.. Hope this helps and I will be posting my progress to hopes to help others.

Required Connections - From TCM-2650 harness to 99-02 Silverado

- Constant power - 12v Battery – Red

o Also be sure to connect the “switched power” and “constant power” both to a keyed power source. This prevents TCM-2650 issue and allows constant power and switch power to active concurrently.

- Switch Power - Yellow

- Ground - Black

TPS Connections

o Wire1 – Yellow/Black – Truck (PCM Pin 24 Dark Blue Wire, circuit 417)

o Wire2 – Black/White – Truck (PCM Pin 1 Black/White Wire, circuit 451)

Tach Connection

o Positive – Orange/Black - Truck (PCM Pin 10 White Wire, circuit 121)

o Ground – Black/White – Truck (PCM Pin 1 Black/White Wire, circuit 451)

- Brake Lamp Input – Gray/Black

- Reverse – Purple/Black – Truck (Light green wire, watch video)

o F - LT GRN – 24 - Back-up Lamp Feed

o

Park/Neutral – Pink/Blue – Truck (Yellow wire, 1737)

Alright, I will update this with pics in an edit soon

FINALLY have the t-case in, that was a nightmare. Ended up replacing the everything, including the rear case housing. Then it wouldn't fit back together, turned out it was an o-ring that was ~.025" too large in cross section that was preventing reassembly

Today my tuner came over and we poured over the wiring. We made all of the splices at the ECU. We are confident we got everything hooked up and the truck will move under it's own power, provided I fill the trans and figure out why I don't have any electrical power to the truck, whatsoever

TUTD, gear indicator and reverse lights aren't wired up yet either. But that shouldn't stop the truck from going forward. Hopefully
