there were a few threads but i cant find them and i did search

i need to know EVERYTHING that has to be done to go from 4.3 v6 to 6.0 v8 in a 99 nbs silverado i will get a complete engine and get tranny later on

i think there is adding a couple wires to the harness for two more cylinders or something on that order

i know there is more i just dont know what there is

the only reason i am doing this is i have my truck paid off and i only paid $6k for in and the cheapest nbs 2wd i can find i $10k+

and i know its easier to buy a 4.8 and do that but i have money issues

Pretty sure that you will need a V8 harness in its entirety. The LSx motors are a wholly different design (port fuel injection, distributorless ignition, etc.) than the 4.3L V6.

Other than that, you will need alot more than anyone will remember offhand, unless they chronicled their swap meticulously. Your best be might be to keep your eyes peeled for a wrecked V8 truck and go to town.
